Mark Kordic
Senior Consultant
With successful experience in corporate and non-profit leadership positions and almost a generation of experience in listener-supported Christian radio, Mark Kordic helps radio stations grow income from major donors and pledges.
Before joining Advocace Media, Mark was the Director of Media Advancement for CDR Radio Network-The PATH®, the media division of Cedarville University in Cedarville OH. At The PATH® he successfully served in a number of marketing and executive positions, helping fund network expansion. During much of his tenure, Kordic served as assistant pastor at Shawnee Hills Baptist Church in Jamestown, OH. In addition, Mark also attracted funding partners for the university athletic program and capital campaigns.
Mark was drawn to Advocace Media through a shared passion to see Christian radio stations succeed in their respective market areas. Acting on the wisdom of the late Larry Burkett, Mark believes that local Christian radio stations are well positioned to be the most effective uniters of the body of Christ in a community.
Some of the leading radio stations and networks count on Mark for leadership in moving to the next level in community influence. Two of those stations, WAWZ (STAR 99.1) in New York City and WMIT 106.9 (The Light) in Asheville, North Carolina, are recipients of the 2008 NRB Station of the Year in their respective market categories.
Since 2005, Mark has led Advocace Media’s major donor representation efforts by building a multi-year, sustainable funding climate for stations with an urgent vision to reach their community.
In addition to his work with Advocace Media, Mark assists a medical missions evangelistic organization in Swaziland, Africa.
Mark and his wife Paula have two adult children and one high school aged son. Living in Southern Ohio, they are avid fans of The Ohio State University Buckeyes and enjoy service at FairCreek Church in Fairborn, Ohio.
